Analytics shows how a site’s assistant is doing — volume, responsiveness, and satisfaction.

Metrics

Metric	What it means
Conversations	Total conversations.
Messages	Total messages exchanged.
Handoff rate	Share of conversations where a visitor asked for a human, ÷ total conversations.
Avg. AI response	Mean time for the AI to reply after a visitor message.
CSAT	Average of the 1–5 ratings visitors leave after an agent closes a chat.

A 30-day activity chart tracks page views, visitors, conversations, and messages over time, and a table lists recent conversations with their status.

Tip

A rising handoff rate often points to gaps in your knowledge base — the assistant is punting questions it can’t answer. Reviewing those chats shows you what content to add.
