What it answers while they cook
Every answer starts from the recipe card the reader has open. When the recipe does not cover it, the assistant says so and uses general cooking knowledge, clearly marked.
Substitutions with amounts
No buttermilk? It answers with the swap, the quantity, and what changes in the result, from the ingredient list on the page.
Scaling that redoes the math
Halve it, double it, cook for six. Every ingredient is recomputed from the recipe yield and listed back, with a note when the pan or the time should change.
Metric, imperial, cups, grams
Converts units on request and answers in the reader's language, whatever language the recipe is written in.

Install the plugin
Add Yamidoo from the WordPress plugin directory and click Connect. A free account is created for you.

Questions food bloggers ask
- Does it need a special recipe plugin?
- No. The widget reads the schema.org Recipe data every major recipe plugin already prints for Google: WP Recipe Maker, Tasty Recipes, Recipe Card Blocks, Create and others. If Google can read your recipe, so can Yamidoo.
- Where do the answers come from?
- From the recipe the reader has open first, then from the rest of your site, which Yamidoo indexes: your other recipes, your tips posts, your FAQ. For general cooking knowledge, like a substitution the recipe does not mention, it says so.
- Will it slow down my pages?
- The widget is a single deferred script, under 30 KB compressed, isolated in its own shadow DOM so it cannot touch your theme's styles or layout. It loads after your content.
- What does it cost for a food blog?
- Pricing is per site and counts conversations, not pageviews. The Free plan includes 50 conversations a month with no card and no expiry. Starter is $29 a month for 300. Most readers ask one or two questions, so a conversation is short.
- Can readers reach me?
